In 1966 the Batmobile from the live TV show started as a prototype Ford car called the Lincoln Futura. The body of the Futura was made by Ghia of Italy, whose craftsmen forged the car panels on carved tree trunks and logs that served as molds to create the smooth surface of the car that looks like a skate. The very large bat trunk in the Batmobile is equipped with anti-crime equipment and has plenty of space to comfortably hold eight people. The windshield is bulletproof. And of course, the Batmobile is nothing without its useful gadgets, such as the cutter on the nose of the car, the laser, the rockets, the telephone, the radar, the screen, the computer and the police lighthouse, among others.
